This is one of my very favorite type of travel videos! It’s SO HARD to know what to pack when I travel. Seeing what you have is especially helpful since you do this full time!!! Yay!❤🎉
Hey Lynelle from beautiful Southwest Austin, Texas. I'm retired, and I live vicariously through you and your travels. I'm heavily leaning toward the cruise lifestyle. Hopefully, in the near future, maybe we'll run into one another. Stay safe and happy cruising! 🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾😘🙏🏾😍🙏🏾
Old lady vitamins! I just laughed out loud at work. Coworkers looking at me sideways. 😂😂😂 Great video with lots of details. We had more stuff than you do and we were cruising for 14 days not MONTHS! WOW!
🤣😂😅 Why I couldn't think of "One-A-Day" with the bottle right there is beyond me! You will be old one day and will laugh back at this moment in time! 🤭🤭🤭 Yeah, I'm tickled when I see the other cruisers w/ all these bags. Granted they/you need to change it up for pics, so, you all are good! ✔️😊💕
I was thinking about you today. Wondering where you were and such. Good to see you on here again. I am gonna try and start a channel. Traveling the USA and toss up some content. I think it would be fun.
Welcome back! I have been right here making videos 2 to 3 times a week, even when I was sick. Hope to see you over there. 🤗🌻🛳 RUclips Course: groundedlife.thinkific.com/courses/youtube-after-40?ref=34db57
Great video! My hubby has that fan and he took it everywhere in our recent cruises. It sure came in handy at the casino! I have several pair of Brooks Ghost shoes and that's almost all I wear anymore, except slip- on sandals for summer/cruisewear. My foot doctor recommended them highly. I'm curious if you would consider making a video where you show some low-carb food selections when at the buffet or other restaurant venues. I eat very low carb (keto) and found it difficult to pass up all the wonderful fresh fruit onboard while cruising for almost one full month in December/January. Anyway, it might be content that would interest since if your followers. Happy cruising!!
OMG! I LOOOOOOVE 💕💝💜 these Brooks! I have never had sneakers that were shaped to my foot. I feel like I've been deprived all my life! In general, a video about low-carb foods would not appeal to the majority of viewers on this channel, but over on the membership page, I will be making members-only content and taking video suggestions. If there are a few people over there that are interested, that would be an easy video to make as I'm already here and it wouldn't take much to make, but on the main page, it would mess up the algorithm. Thanks.
Great help...thank you!! I love that you can have a medicine bag in addition to those things...wonderful!! You did one awesome job. I love your stool...I have a light triangle thing yhay folds yo clean and even plant and pull weeds with now and that is heaven..thank you thank you!!!
You are amazing in what you are doing with retirement. Where and how do you get prescriptions medications refilled? Do you not miss pictures on wall, candles, flowers, gardening in spring? You did not miss how you get laundry done? I think you have adjusted so well and admire that!!
Thanks. Same as everyone else; I go to the pharmacy (Walmart, CVS, Target, etc); No, I brought some with me. Who misses doing laundry? Thank you, I appreciate that. Thanks for watching.
😂😅 I'm on the extreme side! Most nomads travel w/ at least a checked suitcase too like I used to do so you wouldn't HAVE to be as minimal as I am. 🤷🏽♀️🛳
Keep dancing! Can't wait to hear about your trip to Europe. There are some amazing deals on the transatlantic crossings, we have our first booked for next Spring. Looking forward to avoiding the airports!
Hi and welcome aboard. Feel free to check out previous videos for lots of great content and descriptions of ships, cabins, and much more. Thanks for watching. 👋🏽😊🛳
Yes, in some places, maybe NYC, they won't automatically give cutlery for take out. You have to request it. It's city policy, not the restaurant, because they want to cut down on plastics/throwaways. So good idea
Hello from Finland, new subscriber here 🌞 Very interesting and exciting content to watch, i love the sea and ships/ boats - we live nearby the Bay of the Bothnia🩵 Happy travels and take care 👍🌹🥰
Most people watching these videos still have it in their head that I am on vacation, which I am not! When I was on 'vacation', yes, of course. I live here now. I have no reason to dress up fancy and do all that. I'm a middle-class regular U.S. citizen. When I was on land, I didn't go to the Mayor's ball or the Governor's parties. That's pretty much equivalent. 🤗💗🌻
I'm a carry-on only traveler - cruises or resorts. I'm cheap and don't want to pay for luggage and I don't want to wait at the carousel for luggage. When I get off the plane, I'm ready to go straight to the cruise ship.
Nope. This is my home now. Who dresses up to go home? I mentioned in a previous packing video that I used to keep a dress "just in case"...I prefer to be minimal and there's no room in my luggage for "just in case" clothes & shoes. 👀🤷🏽♀️🤗💕
😆🤭 I know!!! Did you miss the part that I said it's "slash-proof"? There's metallic binding inside of the material so yes, they can cut the strap, but it'll take way more effort than a "slash & grab" to remove the bag from my body. I have tried under blouse money belts and I choose this as I can carry my GoPro and lots of other stuff in this bag and still feel somewhat "safe". 🎉🛳
Thank you. Heavens no! 😂 I can't stand the sight of blood and I have type-A personality. 😎 I was an apartment manager for 18 years and an Accountant for the past 11 years. 🤗
@@PovertyToParadiseFunny enough, I didn’t catch your mistake. I thought I typed Samsonite, but didn’t catch the auto correct. The comment is funny, so I’ll leave it, but I do still have my 50+ year old Samsonite luggage. (And I’m still having to override auto correct every time i type Samsonite.)
Great video. What airlines allow a 3rd bag for carry on? I've always had to consolidate my medicine bag and cross body sling into my carry on or personal item.
In the U.S., most domestic airlines allow passengers to bring a separate bag for medications in addition to their standard carry-on and personal item. This is in accordance with TSA guidelines, which permit medically necessary items to be carried without counting toward baggage limits. Here are a few examples: 1. American Airlines Medications and other assistive items do not count toward your carry-on allowance. Inform the gate agent or flight attendant if you need assistance with storing or accessing them. 2. Delta Air Lines Medications and medical devices are considered separate from standard baggage allowances. These items can be carried in addition to your personal item and carry-on. 3. United Airlines United allows passengers to bring medically necessary items, such as medications, without it counting toward baggage limits. 4. Southwest Airlines Southwest permits a separate bag for medications and medical devices in addition to your standard allowance. They recommend labeling your medication bag for easy identification. 5. Alaska Airlines Medications and other medical necessities are exempt from the carry-on limit. General Tips: Medications should ideally be carried in their original labeled containers. It's a good idea to inform the TSA agent during screening that you are carrying a bag with medications. You can request a manual inspection of medications to avoid X-ray screening if needed.
